Doha: Over 120 artists from 21 countries are actively participating in the second Fereej Art and Design Festival at Darb Al Saai. Organized by the Ministry of Culture, the event marked its fifth day today, featuring workshops, exhibitions, and panel discussions on the future of art and creativity. According to Qatar News Agency, a public interactive quiz encouraged visitors to explore the festival's exhibits and activities, combining learning with engagement. Organizers said the game-style format directs audiences to different sections, enhancing interaction and knowledge of art and design. The festival features more than 12 exhibitions and 14 workshops, including seven international sessions covering Japanese Bingata, Kuwaiti glasswork, Australian natural dyes, Spanish gilding, Indian fabric printing, Russian floral dishes, and live performances from Kuwait. It also includes six main art houses: Exhibition House, Workshops House, Calligraphy House, Ceramics House, Artist Studios, and the Forum House, alon gside a design market and children's area. The festival concludes on Saturday.
