Miami: FIFA announced Thursday the launch of its 2025 international Player Transfer Course, scheduled to run from December 9 to 12 in Miami, USA. This initiative is designed to enhance and refine the skills and expertise of participants in one of the core areas of global football operations.
According to Qatar News Agency, the application process for the course will be open from August 28 to September 30. The course is set against the backdrop of more than 20,000 international transfers being completed annually, involving players from over 5,000 clubs worldwide, as stated in a FIFA release.
The statement highlighted that while FIFA has simplified the transfer system significantly in recent years, the process still requires a deep understanding of its various stages and procedures. Familiarity with the legal framework governing transfers is also essential.
FIFA indicated that the program is tailored for professionals who are currently or prospectively involved in international transfers. It offers a concise yet comprehensive overview of the international transfer system, combining theoretical sessions with practical exercises. The aim is to equip participants with the confidence and competence needed to handle the complexities of international transfers.
