Asuncion: FIFA has concluded the first major FIFA Talent Academy event in South America, hosted by Paraguay at the Cardif High Performance Centre, reaffirming its commitment to developing young players.
According to Qatar News Agency, the academy is part of a talent development program launched in more than 180 FIFA member associations, with the aim of giving every football talent the opportunity to reach their highest levels.
In remarks on the occasion, FIFA Secretary General Mattias Grafstrom praised the fruitful partnership with the Paraguayan Football Association, stressing that the program has become a tangible reality.
It is worth noting that FIFA aims to establish 75 elite academies around the world by 2027 to enhance training and competition, and enable young talent to grow athletically and personally in a supportive and stimulating environment.
