Sealine: The fifth and penultimate round of the Qatar Desert Racing Championship for the 2025 season concluded Friday evening. Organized by the Qatar Motor and Motorcycle Federation (QMMF), the two-day event took place in the Sealine area and featured participation from leading local and resident drivers and riders. According to Qatar News Agency, the motorcycle-only round included 28 competitors from 10 countries: Qatar, Kuwait, the UAE, Britain, Germany, Lithuania, Russia, South Africa, Denmark, and Portugal. The competition was intense as participants sought victory across various categories. In the Class 1 category, British rider Alex Mackins secured the title by finishing the 19-lap race in 1 hour, 11 minutes, and 47 seconds. UAE rider Abdullah Langawi finished second with a time of 1 hour, 13 minutes, and 3 seconds, followed by fellow Emirati Mohammed Al Balooshi, who completed the race in 1 hour, 13 minutes, and 30 seconds. In the Class 2 category, Emirati rider Abdulaziz Ahli claimed the title, fin ishing first with a time of 1 hour, 16 minutes, and 46 seconds. He was closely followed by compatriot Mansour Al Suwaidi, who finished second with a time of 1 hour, 16 minutes, and 52 seconds. UAE rider Khalifa Al Bastaki secured third place with a time of 1 hour, 16 minutes, and 40 seconds, despite completing one less lap.
