Gaza: Five Palestinians were martyred Saturday following an Israeli army bombardment of the southern and central Gaza Strip. According to Qatar News Agency, Palestinian medical sources reported that three Palestinians were martyred Saturday morning after the Israeli occupation soldiers targeted a group of people in the Al-Janina neighborhood, east of Rafah city, in the southern part of the Gaza Strip. In Gaza City, in the central part of the strip, the number of martyrs from the Israeli bombing of a house in Shejaiya neighborhood, east of the city, rose to three after two Palestinians, who were critically injured, succumbed to their wounds. The same sources reported receiving stress calls from people trapped in the Jabaliya refugee camp and Beit Lahia, in the northern part of the strip, after Israeli bombing targeted their homes, with the Civil Defense stating that its operations are still disrupted in all areas throughout the northern Gaza for the 25th day, due to the Israeli relentless offensive, adding that thousands of people are ominously bereft of medical care and humanitarian relief. On Saturday, the Palestinian Ministry of Health reported that the number of victims due to the ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza since Oct. 7, 2023, surged to 43,799 fatalities, and 103,601 injuries, with thousands of victims being trapped in bombed-out buildings and on the streets, as rescue personnel are unable to reach them amid a catastrophic humanitarian situation due to the imposed siege.
