Jordan: Jordanian Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi and his Turkish counterpart, Hakan Fidan, engaged in a phone conversation to address pressing regional matters concerning the Gaza Strip, the West Bank, and Syria.
According to Qatar News Agency, the discussion underscored the importance of adhering to the Gaza ceasefire agreement, emphasizing the necessity of progressing to its second phase. Both ministers highlighted the urgent need to consolidate efforts to end the Israeli escalation in the occupied West Bank.
Safadi and Fidan also reiterated the commitment of their respective countries to continue cooperation and coordination in supporting Syria. This includes backing the Syrian government's initiatives to rebuild the nation and ensure its security, stability, sovereignty, and territorial integrity, as well as the safety of its citizens.
