Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani, attended a reception hosted by the Federal Chancellor of the Federal Republic of Germany, Olaf Scholz, at the United Nations headquarters in New York, on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Federal Republic of Germany's membership in the United Nations.
The Foreign Minister conveyed greetings from His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to the Federal Chancellor, and their wishes of further progress and prosperity to Germany and its people.
Dr. Al-Zayani congratulated Federal Chancellor Olaf Scholz on the 50th anniversary of Germany's United Nations membership, praising Germany's role in supporting the efforts and objectives of the United Nations. He also lauded the relations of friendship and cooperation between Bahrain and Germany, and their steady development thanks to the common interest of their leaderships.
