Tripoli, Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Minister of Foreign Affairs, met with President Mohamed Al Menfi, Chairman of the Presidential Council of Libya. The Foreign Affairs Minister has visited Libya as part of a tour that covered several Arab countries. Al Menfi relayed his greetings to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, wishing them abundant health and Bahrain and its people further progress and prosperity. The chairman lauded Bahrain's hosting of the 33rd Arab Summit, headed by HM King Hamad, and wished the summit success in enhancing Arab cooperation. Al Zayani conveyed the greetings of HM the King and HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister to Al Menfi and their wishes for further prosperity, security, and peace to the people of Libya. The minister lauded the bilateral levels and cooperation between Bahrain and Libya. The Minister briefed the chairman on the preparations for the 33rd Arab Su mmit hosted by Bahrain on May 16, the summit's work programme, and the topics and issues to be included in the agenda.
