Amman, Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Minister of Foreign Affairs, met with Sergei Vershinin, the Russian Deputy Foreign Minister, on the sidelines of the Urgent Humanitarian Response for Gaza Conference. The meeting discussed the historical Bahraini-Russian ties and means to further enhance them in various domains, particularly following the recent state visit made by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the agreements and memorandums of understanding reached to enhance cooperation in several areas. The two officials reviewed the latest regional and international developments and their repercussions on regional security and stability, with a focus on the war in the Gaza Strip.
