New York, Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Minister of Foreign Affairs, met Sara Beysolow Nyanti, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Liberia, on the sidelines of the 79th session of the United Nations General Assembly. The two sides discussed bilateral relations between the two countries and ways to develop them to serve common interests. The ministers also exchanged views on various regional and international issues and topics of mutual concern. During the meeting a joint statement was signed to establish diplomatic relations between the two countries. Ambassador Jamal Fares Al Rowaiei, the Permanent Representative of Bahrain to the UN in New York, was present. Source: Bahrain News Agency
