Foreign Minister Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani presented Prince Salman bin Hamad Medal of Medical Merit to a number of ambassadors accredited to the Kingdom of Bahrain.
This was in implementation of the royal order of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to all the competent authorities to hand over the medal to the workers in the front lines from the health sector, Bahrain Defence Force, the Interior Ministry and all supportive parties.
The recipients are Jordan's Ambassador, Dean of the Diplomatic Corps in the Kingdom of Bahrain Rami Wreikat, Moroccan Ambassador Mustapha Benkhayi, Saudi Ambassador His Royal Highness Prince Sultan bin Ahmed bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Kuwaiti Ambassador Shaikh Thamer Jaber Al Ahmed Al Sabah, Deputy Omani Ambassador Dr. Mohammed bin Ali Al Balooshi, in recognition of their efforts and cooperation with the Kingdom of Bahrain during the outbreak of Covid-19 pandemic.
Dr. Al Zayani congratulated the ambassadors on receiving the Prince Salman bin Hamad for Medical Merit, hailing joint coordination to protect citizens and residents' health.
The ambassador also expressed pride at receiving the medals, praising thee efforts exerted by the Kingdom of Bahrain to combat the pandemic and protect citizens and residents' health.
They stressed commitment to continue joint coordination with the Kingdom of Bahrain towards serving common interests, wishing the Kingdom further development and prosperity.
