Four Palestinians Injured in Israeli Airstrikes in Central Gaza Strip

Gaza city: Four Palestinians were injured in a new Israeli airstrike targeting the central Gaza Strip on Sunday.

According to Qatar News Agency, a correspondent cited medical sources at Al Awda Hospital saying that four people were wounded in an Israeli airstrike on a civilian car in the Al Ahli Club area of Nuseirat Camp in central Gaza.

In a related incident, a child was killed when a building collapsed in Gaza City, a structure previously hit by Israeli bombardment. Moreover, Gaza's civil defense reported that a 9-year-old girl was martyred, and three others were injured, after the collapse of a residential building in the Al Sabra neighborhood in southern Gaza City, which had also been struck earlier by Israeli forces.

Destroyed or partially collapsed buildings resulting from repeated Israeli bombardments pose a serious danger to civilians searching for shelter amid the widespread devastation of Gaza's infrastructure and residential areas. The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) had earlier announced that more than 61 million tons of rubble now cover vast areas of the Gaza Strip.

UNRWA noted that entire neighborhoods have been wiped out, while many families continue to search through the debris for water and shelter.
