Gaza: The Israeli occupation army on Sunday conducted aerial offensives in multiple areas across the Gaza Strip, killing four Palestinians and injuring others.
According to Qatar News Agency, medical sources in Gaza reported that two Palestinians were martyred in an Israeli shelling near Kisufim, east of Deir Al-Balah in central Gaza. In Gaza City, a Palestinian was martyred and several others were injured after the Israeli occupation combat aircraft pounded a home in Al-Zaytoun neighborhood, southeast of the city.
Meanwhile, sources at Gaza hospitals reported that 42 Palestinians were killed by Israeli gunfire in many areas throughout the Strip today, among them 22 who were waiting for aid. The death toll from the ongoing Israeli aggression against the Gaza Strip since Oct. 7, 2023, has risen to 61,944 martyrs and 155,886 wounded.
The Israeli occupation army resumed its onslaught on the Strip after breaching the ceasefire on March 18, following a two-month respite, and targeted various areas of the enclave, which has already been reeling from an unprecedented humanitarian calamity after 22 months of war.
