France: France called today for the implementation of the second phase of the Gaza peace plan, a day after Israel recovered the body of the last Hamas prisoner, a condition set for moving forward with the plan.
According to Qatar News Agency, in a post on X platform, Spokesman for the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs Pascal Confavreux said that now, the opportunity is available to enter the second phase of the Gaza peace plan, to move from a ceasefire to a lasting peace, to deliver massive humanitarian aid, and to re-establish a credible political horizon for a two-state solution, with both states living in peace and security.
It is worth noting that the second phase of US President Donald Trump's plan, which stipulates a ceasefire, a commitment to withdraw the Israeli army from the Gaza Strip, and a ban on annexing any part of the West Bank, was approved last October.
