Gaza-Ma'an- The Palestinian Tribes, Clans and Families Gathering in the Gaza Strip condemned the recent increase in roadblocks, robberies and thefts, considering that those who carry out such acts are a rogue group outside the national ranks and must be held accountable. This came during a tribal vigil organized by the Gathering of Palestinian Tribes, Clans and Families in the Gaza Strip at Nasser Hospital during a press conference held by the gathering. The conference included a speech by dignitaries in which they called on the clans to reject these actions that violate our law and customs, and to lift the cover from those proven to be members of families who engage in such actions, and to denounce and hold them accountable according to Palestinian law and customs in the Strip. Mukhtar Hussein Abu Ayada said that this vigil came at a time when our people in our steadfast Strip are suffering from the scourge of unjust aggression over the past year, and their suffering has been exacerbated by the actions of some members of the clans that contradict the authenticity and history of our families in Gaza. Mukhtar Abu Ayada called on the ancient Palestinian clans and families to express their rejection of these actions that contradict the authenticity of our families. Mukhtar Abu Ayada added that a number of dignitaries and family leaders responded to the gathering's call and issued statements of denunciation, rejection and condemnation of the suspicious actions of some members of their families and to lift the cover from them according to our law and authentic Palestinian customs.
