Gaza: The Ministry of Health in Gaza called on the international community to urgently take action to pressure the Israeli occupation into allowing the entry of fuel, spare parts, and generator oils into the Gaza Strip's hospitals.
According to Qatar News Agency, the ministry stated that Al-Shifa Medical Complex and Al-Ahli Arab Hospital are at risk of being out of service within 24 hours. Both hospitals are crucial in providing emergency medical care to injured and sick civilians in Gaza City and the northern Gaza Strip, especially after other hospitals have already ceased operations.
The ministry emphasized that the shutdown of these two hospitals would result in the collapse of the last remaining health institutions in Gaza City. It was also noted that the Nasser Medical Complex is currently functioning on limited fuel, which is expected to last for only two more days.
The ministry further reported that, as of now, there has been no communication indicating that fuel deliveries will be permitted to resume or that generator operations can be sustained.
