GCC Condemns Drone Attack on Kuwaiti Border Posts

Doha: GCC Secretary-General Jassim Mohammed Al Budaiwi strongly condemned attacks that targeted border posts in Kuwait, carried out from Iraq using drones. In a statement, he affirmed that the continuation of such attacks originating from Iraq constitutes a blatant violation of the principles of good neighborliness and all international laws and norms.

According to Qatar News Agency, Al Budaiwi expressed the GCC's full solidarity with Kuwait and its support for all measures it takes to safeguard its sovereignty, security, and stability. The attack highlights tensions in the region and raises concerns about the potential for further escalation if not addressed promptly.
