The Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) expressed its condemnation and denunciation of the Israeli occupation forces' shelling of the Jaouni School, a United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) affiliate, in the Nuseirat refugee camp in the Gaza Strip, as well as their direct targeting of innocent displaced persons. In a statement, GCC Secretary-General Jasem Mohamed Albudaiwi said that the Israeli occupation forces' continuous and monstrous attacks against Palestinian civilians in the Gaza Strip and other Palestinian territories, along with the direct targeting of displaced persons camps, constitute a blatant violation of international law, conventions, and humanitarian norms, adding that these acts constitute war crimes, which underscore the Israeli occupation forces' dangerous criminal approach of disregarding legal, ethical, and humanitarian values. The GCC Secretary-General called on the international community, including all of its states and organizations to tak e immediate and serious action to achieve an immediate ceasefire and put an end to the dangerous Israeli military operations, in addition to holding those responsible for these violations accountable. Albudaiwi also reiterated the GCC countries' steadfast support for the just Palestinian cause and their efforts to protect the Palestinian people from the Israeli occupation forces' oppression and criminal behavior.
