Doha: GCC Secretary-General Jasem Mohamed Al Budaiwi has held talks with senior World Bank officials on ways to strengthen cooperation between the GCC and the World Bank Group.

According to Qatar News Agency, The discussions brought together Al Budaiwi with Abdulaziz Al Mulla, Executive Director at the World Bank Group, and Suhail Al Saeed, the World Bank Group's Executive Director in Saudi Arabia.

The meeting focused on areas of collaboration between the GCC and the World Bank, as well as a number of proposed joint initiatives and programs. Both sides highlighted the importance of continued coordination to support development priorities across GCC member states.
