Riyadh, Jasem Mohamed Albudaiwi, Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), participated virtually in the 24th meeting of the ministerial committee charged with following up on the implementation of Gulf joint action decisions.
The meeting was chaired by Shaikh Al Fadhl bin Mohammed bin Ahmed Al Harithi, Omani Secretary General of the Cabinet and Chairman of the current session, with the participation of those concerned with the Ministerial Committee in the GCC countries.
The meeting discussed the following up on the implementation of joint Gulf action decisions including the GCC Supreme Council’s decisions through issuing legislative tools to indicate the implementation, and the efforts of the GCC Statistical Centre in relation to the progress of studying and measuring the extent of implementation of the joint GCC action.
The committee also reviewed a presentation submitted by the Statistical Centre about the GCC Common Market.
This meeting came within the framework of the continuous follow-up on the progress of implementing the decisions of the GCC Supreme Council, following up on the mechanisms for their execution, and overcoming the obstacles facing it.
