Amman: The general index of shares listed on the Jordan Stock Exchange fell by 0.52 percent, ending the week's trading at 2,493 points. According to Qatar News Agency, the average daily trading volume on the Amman Stock Exchange last week reached approximately JOD 5.7 million, compared to JOD 6.3 million the previous week, marking a decrease of 8.2 percent. The total weekly trading volume amounted to approximately JOD 23 million, down from JOD 31.3 million the previous week. The number of shares traded on the exchange during the past week was 12 million, with these transactions being executed through 8,581 deals.
