Doha: HE Minister of Interior and Commander of the Internal Security Force (Lekhwiya) and chairperson of the General Referendum Committee Sheikh Khalifa bin Hamad bin Khalifa Al-Thani chaired the meeting held by the General Referendum Committee on Monday. The meeting focused on the latest preparations for the referendum on the draft constitutional amendments for 2024 to the permanent constitution of the State of Qatar, scheduled for Tuesday. According to Qatar News Agency, the discussions primarily centered on the measures taken to ensure the readiness of polling stations.
