Berlin: German Foreign Minister Johann Wadephul discussed with his U.S. counterpart Marco Rubio, in a phone call, shared priorities such as ending the war in Ukraine.

According to Qatar News Agency, during the call, the two ministers also addressed the potential increase in defense spending by European countries, the transatlantic bilateral partnership, including the strong ties within the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO), and Western support for Ukraine.
