Doha: The price of gold in the Qatari market decreased by 5.17 percent during the current week, reaching $3153.10000 per ounce on Thursday, according to data issued by Qatar National Bank (QNB).
According to Qatar News Agency, QNB data showed that the price of gold per ounce fell from $3325.02690, the level recorded last Sunday.
The data also showed a decrease in the prices of other precious metals on a weekly basis, with silver dropping by 2.46 percent to $31.94000 per ounce, from $32.74770 at the beginning of the week. Platinum fell by 1 percent, reaching $991.19750 per ounce, compared to $1001.26570 on Sunday.
