Gold prices rose Thursday, about 1 percent, approaching the highest level in a week. Spot gold rose 0.8 percent to $2,514.79 per ounce, after hitting an all-time high since last week earlier in the session. US gold futures rose 0.8 percent to $2,545.60 per ounce. As for other precious metals, spot silver rose 2.2 percent to $28.90 per ounce, platinum jumped 3.5 percent to $934.25 and palladium rose 2.03 percent to $953. Source: Qatar News Agency
