Fujairah: Chairman of the Gulf Tourism Media Association, Khaled Al Daghim, stated that in light of the shortage of specialized talent in tourism media across the Arab world, the Association is committed to enhancing the skills of media professionals and equipping them with modern tools essential for producing high-quality media that effectively promotes Gulf tourism.
According to Qatar News Agency, in a press statement issued during the first Gulf tourism media forum in Fujairah, United Arab Emirates (UAE)-an event bringing together a distinguished group of specialized media professionals-Al Daghim emphasized that tourism media has evolved beyond traditional promotional methods to become a comprehensive industry. It now relies on modern approaches aimed at enriching the tourist experience before, during, and after visits.
He also highlighted the most prominent types of media messages used across both traditional and digital platforms, stressing the importance of tailoring these messages to reflect the diversity of audiences.
On the sidelines of the forum, the Chairman of the Gulf Tourism Media Association delivered a lecture on communication tools in tourism media and their role in supporting tourism development. He underscored the importance of showcasing a renewed and modern image of the Arab world by highlighting innovative initiatives that have positively impacted public perception and contributed to tourism promotion.
