Hamas Hands Over 3 Israeli Detainees to Red Cross

Gaza City: The Izz Al Din Al Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, on Sunday handed over three Israeli detainees to the International Committee of the Red Cross in Gaza City. This action is a part of the ceasefire agreement implementation between Hamas and the Israeli authorities, which began on Sunday morning.

According to Qatar News Agency, several vehicles arrived at the Al Saraya area in Gaza's Al Rimal neighborhood, transporting the three detainees. Their names, Romi Gonen, 24, Emily Damari, 28, and Doron Steinbrecher, 31, were announced by Al Qassam earlier in the day. These individuals were subsequently handed over to Israeli authorities as part of the agreement.

Red Cross teams in Gaza navigated through the Netzarim Corridor towards Gaza City to receive the detainees and facilitate their transfer to the Israeli side. The ceasefire agreement, which aims to reduce tensions, officially took effect on Sunday morning.
