Haniyeh and the head of Turkish intelligence discuss developments in the situation in Gaza

The Hamas movement said in a statement issued by it: During the meeting, developments in the situation in the Gaza Strip were discussed in light of Hamas' approval of the mediators' proposal and the subsequent occupation invasion of the city of Rafah and a number of other Palestinian cities in the Strip, including in the northern Strip, and the abort of the mediators' efforts. In reaching an agreement to stop the war and ceasefire.

Haniyeh praised the recent Turkish positions taken by President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, especially joining the lawsuit in the International Court of Justice, stopping trade with the occupation, and other decisions that are in addition to Turkey's established positions on Palestine and its cause.

The head of the movement handed over to the head of Turkish intelligence a special file containing the torture carried out by the occupation against Palestinian detainees in its prisons, which includes many documented information and decisions in this regard, their results on the detainees and deaths inside the prisons.

For his part, the head of the Turkish Intelligence Service welcomed Hamas' position on the mediators' initiative, and stressed his country's firm positions on the Palestinian issue and its efforts to stop the war and support the Palestinian people and their legitimate rights, according to a Hamas statement.

The head of the Turkish Intelligence Service also promised to follow up on the file of prisoners in the occupation prisons.
