Qalqilya-Ma'an- Palestinian Minister of Health Dr. Majed Abu Ramadan, Director of Al-Mutala'a Hospital Dr. Fadi Al-Atrash, and the Health Support Committee in Qalqilya Governorate discussed the details of the cancer building and kidney department project at Darwish Nazzal Governmental Hospital. The meeting was held at Darwish Nazzal Governmental Hospital, in the presence of members of the Health Sector Support Committee in the governorate, Major General Iyad Al-Aqra Abu Al-Fateh, Dr. Hashem Al-Masry Abu Tariq, members of the committee, Qalqilya Governor Major General Hussam Abu Hamdeh, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health Dr. Wael Al-Sheikh, and the ministry staff. The Minister praised the efforts made by the committee and the financial support from the people and sons of Qalqilya Governorate, to improve the health situation and support any medical need to improve the level of health services for Palestinian citizens in the governorate. The Minister and the Ministry staff praised the attendees and the supportive civil society. The Minister is closely following up on the completion of the construction of the Day Cancer Building Department for Oncology and the Kidney Department, and urged the concerned Ministry staff to follow up diligently to overcome all difficulties so that these medical services are available to citizens. The Minister considered this step as a unique positive step, which is represented by the partnership of the Ministry and Al-Mutlaa Hospital with the people of the governorate in managing medical services for the citizen. The Minister noted that the cardiac catheterization unit will soon see the light in Qalqilya in cooperation with the people of the governorate, because it is an urgent necessity and of great importance with its presence in Darwish Nazzal Governmental Hospital in Qalqilya.
