Damascus, Health Minister Hassan Ghabash has asserted the need for all to take every possible measure to prevent the spread of the poliovirus in the Eastern Mediterranean. During the 11th meeting of the Regional Subcommittee for Polio Eradication and Outbreaks, held virtually today to discuss the mass regional response in Gaza, Ghabash attached great importance for all states to be aware of the dangers of the virus spread as all children are threatened if only one case is confirmed.
