HEBRON - Ma'an - The Israeli occupation forces launched a raid, search and arrest campaign at dawn on Monday, targeting 10 citizens from the town of Beit Kahil, northwest of Hebron, and also arrested a citizen from the town of Beit Ummar, north of Hebron. Local sources reported that large forces of the occupation army stormed the town of Beit Kahil, raided several citizens' homes, searched them, and destroyed their contents and furniture. During this, 10 citizens were arrested. The sources explained that the following were arrested: Mutie Muhammad Badawi Al-Zahour, Sheikh Hisham Salem Al-Atawneh, Qassim Yousef Abdul Hamid Al-Atawneh, Adi Nasser Issa Al-Asafreh, Munther Khalil Salama Al-Atawneh, Muhammad Ali Al-Atawneh, Khaled Fadl Al-Atawneh, Ahmad Ismail Al-Atawneh, Ali Khalil Al-Asafreh, and Nasib Abdul Jalil Al-Atawneh. For his part, the media activist in the town of Beit Ummar, Muhammad Ayyad Awad, said that the occupation army stormed the town, raided many citizens' homes, detained the owners of the r aided homes in separate rooms, and conducted a search inside and outside those homes, and destroyed the doors, furniture and belongings of these homes. Awad added, "During this, Muhammad Nasser Jamal Awad, 29 years old, was arrested, and the occupation soldiers severely beat him during his arrest and transfer to an unknown location."
