Manama, His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports (SCYS), Chairman of the General Sports Authority (GSA), and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC), has assigned HH Shaikh Isa bin Ali Al Khalifa, Vice President of BOC, to lead Bahrain's delegation at the 33rd Summer Olympics in Paris from 26 July to 11 August 2024. The Vice President of BOC expressed his appreciation to His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad, noting that the assignment reflects HH Shaikh Khalid's confidence in national capabilities to represent Bahrain effectively on the international stage. He emphasised his pride in this trust. The Vice President of BOC highlighted the significant support from HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad and pledged collective efforts to support the delegation in achieving the best results and raising Bahrain's flag at this major sporting event. He expressed full confidence in the Bahraini delegation's ability to achieve remarkable success at the Paris 2024 Olympics and stressed the importance of thorough preparation and diligent work to meet the set goals.
