Manama, His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa, the Special Representative of His Majesty the King, received Mohammed Ali Al Qaed, Chief Executive of the Information and eGovernment Authority (iGA), who briefed him on the United Nations eGovernment Report 2024. HH Shaikh Mohammed welcomed Al Qaed, commending the achievement made by the Kingdom of Bahrain in the United Nations eGovernment Report for the year 2024 of advancing by 36 ranks and its classification in the highest category. His Highness underscored that this achievement embodies the development vision of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. HH added that it demonstrates the advancement of national initiatives and programmes implemented by the government, headed by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, which aim to improve the services provided to citizens and residents. His Highness commended the efforts of the Ministerial Committee for Information and Communication Technology, headed by His Excellency Lieutenant General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Minister of Interior, and all the entities and bodies for their contribution to achieving this accomplishment. Al Qaed thanked His Highness Shaikh Mohammed for supporting the achievements made in digital transformation and for all efforts and initiatives that support the comprehensive development process in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
