Manama, His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs and Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports (SCYS), visited Al Taawon Secondary School for Boys. His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy Chairman of the SCYS, Chairman of the General Sports Authority (GSA), and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC), was present. Their Highnesses were received by Dr. Mohammed Mubarak Juma, Minister of Education, Ayman bin Tawfiq Al Moayyed, Secretary General of the SCYS, Rawan bint Najeeb Tawfiqi, Minister of Youth Affairs, and Dr. Abdulrahman bin Sadiq Askar, CEO of the GSA. His Highness Shaikh Nasser hailed the support of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the follow-up of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, for advancing education, as a key pillar of development. HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad expressed his appreciation to the Mi nistry of Education for its efforts. His Highness urged the students to participate in the global sports programme at IMG academy in Florida, USA. The Minister of Education emphasised the pride in the inspiring role of HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad for young people in sports and the follow-up of HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad that had a great impact on encouraging promising sports talents.
