HH Sheikha Moza Bint Nasser Celebrates Achievements of 300 Graduates at Qatar Foundation Schools Commencement Ceremony

Doha: HH Sheikha Moza bint Nasser, Chairperson of Qatar Foundation, attended the Qatar Foundation Schools Commencement Ceremony, marking the achievements of 300 graduates from seven schools within the organization's ecosystem of education. The event, held at Qatar National Convention Centre, was also graced by HE Vice Chairperson of Qatar Foundation Sheikha Hind bint Hamad Al-Thani, along with ministers, diplomats, teachers, faculty members, and families of the graduating students.

According to Qatar News Agency, the commencement ceremony aligns with Qatar Foundation's (QF) 30th anniversary and celebrated the accomplishments of students from Qatar Academy Doha, Qatar Academy Al Khor, Qatar Academy Sidra, Qatar Academy for Science and Technology, Qatar Leadership Academy, Qatar Academy Al Wakra, and Awsaj Academy. President of QF's Pre-University Education, Abeer Al Khalifa, expressed pride in celebrating the graduation of a new cohort.

Al Khalifa emphasized QF's educational model that values each student's individuality, with tailored academic tracks to meet various needs and aspirations. She highlighted that QF's commitment extends beyond education, focusing on instilling values and life skills to cultivate active citizens open to the world yet deeply rooted in their culture. Al Khalifa encouraged the Class of 2025 to embrace lifelong learning and face challenges with confidence.

The keynote speech was delivered by Hamad Ali Al Khater, Chief Operating Officer at Hamad International Airport and a Class of 2004 graduate from QF's Qatar Academy. Al Khater reflected on his educational journey that began with a newspaper ad which led him to join a pioneering IB program at Qatar Academy. He shared key principles for the graduates: having a clear vision, staying disciplined, embracing technology, and valuing human connections.

The ceremony included graduates receiving their diplomas and valedictorians receiving special recognition. The event featured a performance of 'Our Dream,' a collaborative song by QF's Pre-University Education and Qatari artist Fahad Al Hajjaji, performed by students from QF schools, including members of Qatar Music Academy.
