HH the Amir and Egyptian President Discuss Strengthening Bilateral Cooperation

Doha: HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani held a session of official talks with HE President of the Arab Republic of Egypt Abdel Fattah El-Sisi on Monday at his Amiri Diwan office.

According to Qatar News Agency, the meeting began with HH the Amir welcoming HE El-Sisi and his delegation, expressing hopes for strengthening bilateral cooperation to serve the interests of both nations. HH the Amir emphasized the strong ties between the two countries and wished for further progress in their relations.

HE the Egyptian President thanked HH the Amir for the warm welcome and expressed eagerness to enhance development relations across various fields. The discussions covered regional and international issues, especially the situation in Gaza and efforts to deliver relief aid to its residents.

The session included attendance from prominent officials on both sides, including HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani and HE Chief of the President's Office Major General Ahmed Mohammed Ali.

A one-on-one discussion between HH the Amir and the Egyptian President focused on promoting peace and stability in the region. Following the talks, HH the Amir hosted a luncheon banquet in honor of HE the President and his delegation, who were received with an official ceremony upon arrival.
