Milan: HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani met with HE Prime Minister of the Italian Republic Giorgia Meloni at the government palace in Milan. This meeting took place during His Highness's visit to attend the opening of the Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Olympic Games.

According to Qatar News Agency, the discussions focused on bilateral cooperation between Qatar and Italy and explored opportunities to strengthen and develop these ties across various fields. The meeting also addressed prominent regional and international issues of mutual interest, with particular attention to developments in the region.
