Doha:HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani attended a special celebration commemorating the 30th anniversary of Al Jazeera Media Network at its headquarters. The event was held under the theme “And the Story Continues.”

According to Qatar News Agency, prior to the main event, HH the Amir viewed a visual presentation and interactive display that highlighted significant milestones in the network’s history since its inception, showcasing its media journey over the past thirty years.

The celebration included a documentary presentation featuring selected speeches by HH the Late Father Amir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al-Thani, which emphasized the network’s role in the media landscape and the vision it was built upon. Speeches were delivered by HE Chairman of Al Jazeera Media Network’s Board of Directors Sheikh Hamad bin Thamer Al-Thani and Director General Sheikh Nasser bin Faisal Al-Thani. Additionally, the event featured an opening video and presentations on the network’s key facts, figures, and future plans.

Following the ceremony, HH the Amir toured the new studios and newsroom, receiving briefings on the latest broadcasting and television news production technologies. The event was attended by HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani, several sheikhs and ministers, members of the board, Al Jazeera staff, and a distinguished group of media professionals and intellectuals, along with guests including ministers and senior officials from various countries.
