Baghdad: HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani departed the Iraqi capital on Saturday after leading the Qatari delegation at the 34th Ordinary Session of the Council of the League of Arab States at the Summit Level. The session took place at the government palace in Baghdad.
According to Qatar News Agency, HH the Amir was accompanied by HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani, along with an official delegation during the visit. They participated in discussions and engagements as part of the summit agenda. The Amir and his delegation were bid farewell at Baghdad International Airport by HE Minister of Defense of Iraq, Thabet Muhammad Saeed Al Abbasi, and several senior Iraqi officials.
The summit brought together leaders from across the Arab world to discuss pressing regional issues and foster collaboration among member states. The participation of HH the Amir underscored Qatar's commitment to contributing to the dialogue and cooperative efforts within the Arab League framework.
