Milan: HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani affirmed that he held talks with HE Prime Minister of the Italian Republic, Giorgia Meloni on enhancing bilateral cooperation between the two countries, as well as a number of issues of common interest.

According to Qatar News Agency, His Highness stated in a post on X platform that the meeting with the Italian Prime Minister in Milan occurred on the sidelines of the opening ceremony of the Olympic Winter Games Milano Cortina 2026. This gathering provided an opportunity to review ways to strengthen cooperation between the two friendly countries and to exchange views on regional and international developments and issues of mutual interest.
