Doha:HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani has issued Amiri Decision No. 41 of 2026, which establishes the General Authority for Food Safety.
According to Qatar News Agency, the decision was made on Wednesday and is set to take effect immediately from the date of issuance. It will also be published in the official gazette.
