Doha: HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani left Doha on Sunday morning, heading to the sisterly State of Kuwait to chair the State of Qatar's delegation to the 45th Session of the Supreme Council of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), due to kick off in Kuwait City later in the day. According to Qatar News Agency, HH the Amir is accompanied by HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani, and an official delegation. The participation of Qatar's high-level delegation underscores the importance of the GCC meetings in fostering regional cooperation and addressing collective challenges. The 45th Session of the GCC Supreme Council is expected to tackle a range of issues pertinent to the Gulf region, including economic collaboration, security matters, and strategic partnerships. The council meetings serve as a platform for member states to deliberate on policies that impact the stability and growth of the Gulf region.
