Doha: HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani inaugurated the FIFA Arab Cup Qatar 2025 at Al Bayt Stadium in Al Khor City on Monday evening. The event marked a significant moment as dignitaries and guests gathered to witness the commencement of the prestigious football tournament.

According to Qatar News Agency, the opening ceremony was attended by HH Personal Representative of HH the Amir Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad Al-Thani, HH Sheikh Abdullah bin Khalifa Al-Thani, HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Khalifa Al-Thani, HE Sheikh Jassim bin Khalifa Al-Thani, and HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani. The ceremony was graced by several other eminent personalities, including ministers and heads of delegations from sisterly Arab countries.

Numerous ambassadors and heads of diplomatic missions accredited to the State of Qatar were present, along with presidents of football federations and representatives from various organizations. This assembly of distinguished guests highlighted the importance of the tournament and Qatar's role as a host nation.
