Doha: HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani received HE Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Korea Woo Won-shik and his accompanying delegation this morning at the Majlis of Sheikh Abdullah bin Jassim in the Amiri Diwan. The visit was part of an official trip to the country.

According to Qatar News Agency, the meeting focused on discussing bilateral cooperation between Qatar and the Republic of Korea, with an emphasis on exploring ways to enhance these relations. The discussions also covered several regional and international issues of mutual interest, highlighting the commitment of both nations to work closely on various fronts.

The meeting was also attended by Speaker of the Shura Council Hassan bin Abdullah Al Ghanim, indicating the significance of the discussions and the importance of parliamentary diplomacy in strengthening ties between the two countries.
