Doha: HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani has received a formal invitation from HH Amir of the State of Kuwait Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah to attend the 45th session of the Supreme Council of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC). This significant summit is scheduled to take place in December in Kuwait. According to Qatar News Agency, the invitation was delivered to HH the Deputy Amir Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al-Thani during a meeting at the Amiri Diwan office. The meeting took place on Monday morning with HE Minister of Foreign Affairs of the State of Kuwait Abdullah Ali Al Yahya, who was present to convey the message. In addition to extending the invitation, the meeting also provided an opportunity for both parties to discuss the fraternal relations between Qatar and Kuwait. They explored avenues for strengthening the ties between the two nations and addressed several topics of mutual interest.
