Doha: HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani received a phone call from HE President Dr. Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid of the Republic of Iraq on Thursday.

According to Qatar News Agency, during the call, HE the Iraqi President expressed strong condemnation of the Israeli attack that targeted residential buildings housing Hamas leaders in Doha. He described the attack as a clear violation of international law and the sovereignty of the State of Qatar. HE the President affirmed Iraq's absolute solidarity and full support for Qatar in all necessary measures it chooses to undertake.

In response, HH the Amir stated that Qatar would take all necessary measures to ensure its security and territorial integrity. He emphasized that the attack showed a disregard for innocent lives and represented a serious violation that threatens security and stability both regionally and globally.

HH the Amir also expressed gratitude to HE the Iraqi President and the Iraqi people for their sincere support and solidarity with Qatar and its citizens.
