Doha: HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani received a phone call from HE Prime Minister of the Republic of Iraq Mohammed Shia Al Sudani. During the call, the Prime Minister conveyed his country's solidarity with Qatar, strongly condemning the Iranian attack on Al-Udeid Air Base. The incident is considered a violation of Qatar's sovereignty and airspace, as well as international law and the United Nations Charter.

According to Qatar News Agency, the Iraqi Prime Minister emphasized his government's firm stance against any aggression threatening Qatar's security and stability. He called on HH the Amir to exercise restraint and seek diplomatic solutions. HH the Amir expressed gratitude for the Prime Minister's support and solidarity with Qatar and its people.
