Lusail: HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani met with HH the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior of the United Arab Emirates, Lt. Gen. Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, at Lusail Palace on Monday evening to receive condolences on the passing of HH the Father Amir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al-Thani.

According to Qatar News Agency, the meeting was attended by several dignitaries, including HH the Deputy Amir Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al-Thani, HH Personal Representative of the Amir Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad Al-Thani, and HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani. Also present were sons of the late Father Amir and other distinguished members of the Qatari leadership.

The UAE delegation accompanying HH the Deputy Prime Minister included HE Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, HE Minister of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Shakhboot bin Nahyan Al Nahyan, and HE Minister of State Khalifa Shaheen Al Marar. The visit underscored the strong ties between the two nations as they came together to honor the legacy of the late Father Amir.
