HH the Amir Welcomes New Ambassadors to Qatar

Doha: HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani welcomed five new ambassadors who presented their credentials at his office in the Amiri Diwan. The ceremony took place on Monday and marks the beginning of their diplomatic missions in the State of Qatar.

According to Qatar News Agency, the new ambassadors include HE Ambassador Lily Adhieu Martin Manyiel from the Republic of South Sudan, HE Ambassador Bilal Kabalan from the Republic of Lebanon, and HE Ambassador Christos Kapodistrias from the Hellenic Republic. Also presenting their credentials were HE Ambassador Varlam Avaliani from Georgia and HRH Ambassador Saad bin Mansour bin Saad bin Saud bin Abdulaziz Al Saud from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

During the meeting, HH the Amir expressed his wishes for the success of the ambassadors in their new roles, emphasizing the importance of strengthening the ties between Qatar and their respective countries. The ambassadors reciprocated by conveying the greetings and well-wishes of their home countries' leaders to the people of Qatar.

Upon their arrival at the Amiri Diwan, the ambassadors were honored with an official reception ceremony, marking the start of their diplomatic engagements in Qatar.
