Doha: HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani led the reception for HE President of the Arab Republic of Egypt, Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, and his delegation upon their arrival at the Amiri Terminal in Hamad International Airport. The official visit to Qatar commenced on Sunday.
According to Qatar News Agency, the Egyptian President's arrival was met with a warm welcome by several high-ranking Qatari officials. Among them were HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani; HE Chief of the Amiri Diwan, Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khulaifi; and HE Minister of State for Foreign Trade Affairs, Dr. Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Sayed. Additionally, HE Qatar's Ambassador to Egypt, Tariq bin Ali Al Ansari, and HE Egyptian Ambassador to Qatar, Amr El Sherbini, were present to greet the delegation.
The visit is set to strengthen the bilateral ties between Qatar and Egypt, with discussions expected to cover various areas of mutual interest.
